cardamom
A herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the ginger family (Zingiberaceae), Elettaria cardamomum, is used to produce the spice known as cardamom, which can be whole or powdered dried fruits or seeds. The seeds have a flavor that is warm, slightly spicy, and intensely aromatic—almost like camphor. They are a common seasoning in Scandinavian pastries as well as South Asian cuisine, notably curries.
In order to help local farmers, we sell the best cardamom that is directly harvested from nearby farms in the Idukki district. The collected cardamom is dried, graded, and stored in an extremely hygienic environment.
BLACK PEPPER
Black pepper (Piper nigrum), generally known as pepper, is a perennial climbing vine in the family Piperaceae, and the spice that is derived from its fruits is extremely pungent. One of the first known spices is black pepper, which is indigenous to India's Malabar Coast. Pepper is a common spice used all over the world, and it is also occasionally used in medicine as a carminative (to reduce flatulence) and a stimulant of stomach secretions.
CINNAMON
Cinnamon is a spice that made from the inner bark of trees scientifically known as cinnamomum,Gold was once outperformed by cinnamon in value. It was used for religious rituals and embalming in Egypt. It served as a flavoring and was used in religious ceremonies in medieval Europe. Later, it was the spice traded by the Dutch East India Company that was the most profitable. Chinese cassia (Cinnamomum cassia), Vietnamese or Saigon cinnamon (C. loureiroi), Indonesian cinnamon (C. burmannii), and Malabar cinnamon (C. citriodorum) are only a few of the varieties of the related species that are grown for their cinnamon spice.
DRY GINGER
Ginger, often known as ginger root or ginger, is a flowering plant whose rhizome is commonly used as a spice. It is a perennial herbaceous plant that produces annual pseudostems, or fake stems, that are about one meter tall and have narrow leaf blades. Ginger is a well-liked spice and an essential component of Indian cuisine. The inflorescences, which grow directly from the rhizome on separate branches, contain flowers with pale yellow petals and purple borders. It can be used for a variety of things, from enhancing tea flavour to boosting immunity. Although we frequently utilised fresh ginger, you can also take advantage of the many advantages of dry ginger.6
CLOVES
Cloves are the aromatic flower buds of a tree in the family Myrtaceae, Syzygium aromaticum that are globally used in various dishes. Since different countries have distinct harvest seasons, cloves are accessible all year long. Clove stalks are thin stems that branch in an opposite direction along the inflorescence axis. They have a dry, woody texture and are externally brownish, rough, and irregularly wrinkled longitudinally. The ripe, ovoid, brown, unilocular, one-seeded fruits of cloves are known as mother cloves (anthophylli). Expanded blooms with corollas and stamens separated are referred to as blown cloves.
NUTMEG
Myristica fragrans, also known as true nutmeg, is an evergreen tree with dark-green leaves that is grown for its seeds, which are used to make nutmeg, and the seed covering, which is used to make mace. Nutmeg is the seed, or the powdered spice made from that seed, of various tree species in the genus Myristica. Nutmeg butter and essential nutmeg oil are also produced there for sale. It is used to flavour a variety of baked items, confections, puddings, potatoes, meats, sausages, sauces, vegetable.
