CINNAMON

Cinnamon is a spice that made from the inner bark of trees scientifically known as cinnamomum,Gold was once outperformed by cinnamon in value. It was used for religious rituals and embalming in Egypt. It served as a flavoring and was used in religious ceremonies in medieval Europe. Later, it was the spice traded by the Dutch East India Company that was the most profitable. Chinese cassia (Cinnamomum cassia), Vietnamese or Saigon cinnamon (C. loureiroi), Indonesian cinnamon (C. burmannii), and Malabar cinnamon (C. citriodorum) are only a few of the varieties of the related species that are grown for their cinnamon spice.
